Personal Data Processing Policy

This Policy defines how the personal data of users of the website vostok.probotest.ru (the Website) is processed and protected. It has been drawn up in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”.

1. Personal data operator

The personal data operator is Vostochny Okean LLC.

2. What data we process

When an organization registers and places an order, the Operator processes:

  • the surname, first name, patronymic and position of the organization’s representative;
  • email address and telephone number;
  • the name of the organization, its taxpayer number (INN), state registration number (OGRN) and address;
  • documents uploaded by the user to confirm their authority and the legal capacity of the organization;
  • order details: items, amounts, delivery address, billing details;
  • technical data: IP address, browser and device information, cookies, the date and time of access to the Website.

The Operator does not process special categories of personal data or biometric personal data.

3. Purposes of processing

  • verifying an organization before granting access to prices and to ordering chemical products;
  • performing the supply contract: processing orders, issuing invoices, dispatch and delivery;
  • contacting the user in response to an inquiry, including replies to questions submitted through the contact form;
  • complying with the law, including the rules on the circulation of precursors of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances;
  • keeping the Website operational and secure.

4. Legal grounds for processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of:

  • the consent of the data subject, given when filling in forms on the Website;
  • a contract to which the data subject is a party, or in order to conclude such a contract;
  • federal laws and other regulations that require the Operator to retain records of transactions.

5. Verification of organizations

Access to prices for chemical reagents and the ability to place an order are granted only to organizations and sole proprietors that have passed verification. The Operator checks the information provided, including against public state registers. The decision to grant access is taken by an employee of the Operator; automated decision-making with legal consequences is not used.

6. Disclosure to third parties

The Operator does not sell or disclose personal data to third parties, except where this is necessary to fulfil an order (transport companies, banks) or required by law (requests from authorized state bodies). The Operator may entrust the processing of personal data to a party providing technical maintenance of the Website, provided that party observes confidentiality and security requirements.

7. Place of processing and data protection

Databases containing the personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation are hosted on servers located in the territory of the Russian Federation. The Operator applies legal, organizational and technical protection measures: restricted access to data, an encrypted connection to the Website (HTTPS), backups, and storage of uploaded documents in the closed part of the Website.

8. Retention periods

Personal data is kept no longer than the purposes of processing require. Data of verified organizations and order records are kept for the period established by law for retaining documents on business transactions. Once the purposes of processing have been achieved, or if consent is withdrawn, the data is destroyed or anonymized unless the law provides otherwise.

9. Cookies and visit statistics

The Website uses cookies that are necessary for the personal account and the shopping cart to work. The user may disable cookies in their browser settings, in which case certain features of the Website will become unavailable.

To collect anonymized visit statistics, the Website uses Yandex Metrica (YANDEX LLC, 16 Lva Tolstogo Street, Moscow 119021, Russia). The service collects technical data: IP address, device and browser information, referral source, pages viewed and actions on them, including session recording. This information is used solely to assess and improve how the Website works and is not used to identify a visitor. The terms on which the service processes data are set out in the Yandex Privacy Policy. You can opt out of statistics collection by disabling cookies in your browser or by using the Yandex Metrica opt-out tool.

10. User rights

The user has the right to obtain information about the processing of their personal data, to request that it be corrected, blocked or destroyed, and to withdraw consent to processing. To do so, send a request to vostokocean@yahoo.com stating your surname, first name and patronymic, and the substance of your request. A reply is sent within the period established by law. The user also has the right to appeal against the Operator’s actions to Roskomnadzor (the Russian data protection authority) or in court.

11. Changes to the Policy

The Operator may amend this Policy. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes are published means acceptance of the new version.
